Candy Avenue
Online store moved to Shopify
Moved an online candy store from WooCommerce to a custom Shopify theme, and added features for bigger orders.
The challenge
An online candy store on WooCommerce had outgrown it. The owner wanted to move to Shopify without losing the catalog, the search rankings, or the brand — and to get customers to put more in the cart.
What I built
- 01
A full migration
The whole catalog was pulled from the old store and imported into Shopify, with Hebrew URLs and redirects from every old address so search rankings carry over.
- 02
A custom Hebrew theme
A Shopify theme adapted to Hebrew and RTL in the store's own design language, including branded system emails and banners for every collection.
- 03
Bigger orders
A rewards bar that shows how close the cart is to the next free gift, bundles, and upsells in the cart — all driven from one source, so the discounts and what the bar shows always match.
- 04
Store setup as code
Collections, menus, pages, product copy, SEO fields, and policies are pushed by scripts, so the store can be rebuilt or updated in minutes.
