Questions that come up in almost every first call

Working together
Who will I actually work with?
Me, directly. I spec, design, write the code and support you after launch. When a project needs extra expertise — say, complex graphic design — I bring it in and coordinate.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Small and mid-sized businesses, founders with a product idea, and teams inside larger organizations who need an internal tool. What they share: a real need that off-the-shelf software doesn't solve well.
Can we work remotely?
Yes, most of the work happens over video calls, WhatsApp and a live version you can log into. When it helps, we meet.
Do you work in English?
Yes. I build systems and sites in Hebrew, English and both, and work with clients in Israel and abroad.
Timeline and budget
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope: the number of screens, integrations and users. After the intro call and spec you get a proper quote broken into stages, so you know up front what you're paying for.
How long does it take?
A website can go live within a few weeks. A system or app — a first version within a few weeks to a few months, then we keep building in stages.
Can we start small?
Not only can you — I recommend it. Start with what hurts most, see it work, then expand.
How does payment work?
By milestones defined in the spec, so payment follows progress you can see.
Technology and ownership
Do I own the code?
Yes. The code, the database and the cloud accounts are in your name. You never depend on me to keep going.
Which technologies do you use?
Mostly Next.js, React, React Native and TypeScript, with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and Shopify for stores. I pick the tool for the project, not the other way around.
Where is the system hosted?
Usually on Vercel and Supabase, or on infrastructure you already have. Hosting sits in your account.
How do you handle security?
Permissions are enforced on the server and in the database, not just on screen; secrets stay out of the code; every site has security headers. It's part of the build from day one.
After launch
What if something breaks?
In the period after launch I'm available for quick fixes. After that you can continue with ongoing support, or reach out as needed.
Can we add features later?
Yes. The system is built to be extended, and most clients keep adding capabilities after launch.
Will you train our team?
Yes — training for users and managers, plus short documentation that stays with you.
